The magic of live theatre brings people together, inspires creativity, and enriches our community. Tehachapi Community Theatre Association (TCTA) has been a beloved part of our town for decades, offering high-quality performances, partnerships with local schools and organizations, and a space for artists to share their talents. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support!

Why Your Donation Matters

As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, TCTA relies on the generosity of our community to continue operating. Ticket sales cover only a portion of our expenses, and your donation helps us:

🎭 Maintain and improve our historic theatre – Ensuring a welcoming, comfortable, and safe space for performers and audiences alike.

🎭 Work with local schools and organizations – Collaborating with schools, youth programs, and community groups to introduce theatre arts to students and individuals who may not otherwise have access to live performances or theatre education.

🎭 Bring diverse productions to the stage – From classic plays to contemporary performances, your donation allows us to expand our programming and reach new audiences.

🎭 Support local artists and volunteers – Keeping community theatre alive means giving passionate individuals a stage to shine on and opportunities to work behind the scenes.

Your Gift is Tax-Deductible!

Because TCTA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference in sustaining live theatre in Tehachapi.

Member Testimonials

I started going to TCTA shows with my family and I always thought it would be so cool to be up on that stage. Last year, I got to be in Oliver! and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and I learned so much about acting, singing, and working as a team. Now I feel way more confident, and I’ve made some awesome friends too. I hope to do more shows with TCTA!

Productions at  the TCTA at The BeeKay  give our community  to experience  theatre at its finest. Where else can you get the opportunity to be onstage with friends and members of your family? It is truly a wonderful place to experience the performing arts in our town! I encourage everyone to come and experience the magic!
— Janet Wilson
I love seeing my daughter on stage! It’s amazing to see how the entire cast grows from the auditions to performances.

Tehachapi Community Theatre Association changed my life. When I first joined the BeeKay Theatre I had just moved to Tehachapi and didn’t have many friends, but now I have more then I can count! TCTA is a huge part of my life and a great way to spend time. I have helped with four plays so far and every experience has been different and more enjoyable than the last. For the play Oliver, I helped make some props, like a huge turkey out of paper mache. I very much encourage everyone to join TCTA—there’s always something you can help with. With TCTA you can find where you belong!

Tehachapi Community Theatre Association is truly the heart of the arts in our town. Their dedication to creating inclusive, high-quality productions brings people together — not just as audiences, but as friends, volunteers, and collaborators. Whether you’re stepping on stage for the first time or cheering from the seats, there’s a place for everyone at TCTA. It’s more than a theatre— it’s a creative home.
